House of Carder is proud to continue the series of collaborations with Wavlngth in 2020.
Aneesha Kotwani will be hosting 12 guest mixes from music producers and DJs across India each month. These artists will be carefully curated and selected for their work ranging across trip hop, downtempo, electronica, soul and after-hours sounds.

“My mix highlights some of my favourite tunes in heavy rotation created by black artists around the world, covering gospel, soul, doo-wop, ambient & folk music. This music has uplifted and comforted me consistently, and I believe that musicians everywhere owe so much of their craft to the legacy of black music. These are mostly love songs, but they carry a world-weariness that transcends beyond mere and rhythm and harmony. If it’s a slow jam with organs, pianos, brass and spaced-out, falsetto vocals, it’s almost guaranteed to end up on one of my mixes! For me, this music is this singular expression of joy, melancholy and groove unlike any other.”
