House of Carder is proud to continue the series of collaborations with Wavlngth in 2020.
Aneesha Kotwani will be hosting 12 guest mixes from music producers and DJs across India each month. These artists will be carefully curated and selected for their work ranging across trip hop, downtempo, electronica, soul and after-hours sounds.
Featured Artist (April) – Hedrun
“This is a mix of folk, classical, film, jazz and patriotic music recorded in India between 1920-1950. I wanted it to be a little trip to a time we’ve all studied in school but rarely explored musically.
For music in languages I don’t speak and cultures I don’t know much about I have a few friends helping me out so I’ve quoted them directly. I don’t remember having so much fun in putting a mix together ever.”
