HOUSE OF CARDER X WAVLNGTH

House of Carder x WAVLNGTH is a collaborative series of radio shows taking place on a monthly basis with the musical selections of Jay Carder and the A&R/curation of Aneesha coming together for 2 hours of east meets west on Soho Radio London. 

‘In the summer of 2018, I was in London and had ended up attending a gig headlined by Pablo Fierro; somewhere in Hackney which was put together by London crew 4 to the floor. That was the first time I briefly interacted with one of the crew members Josie Carder and shortly after she invited me for a guest mix slot on her monthly show at Soho Radio. Who knew that would be the start of a beautiful friendship, her passion for music as indescribable as mine and her eyes always gleaming when a dope tune drops. I definitely felt like we were on the same wavelength and shortly after claimed her to be my music soul sister. Josie’s forte is championing electronic beats from around the world inspired by deep, tribal rhythms but she showcases her versatility by presenting a fortnightly trip-hop and deep house show on Soho Radio, ‘House Of Carder.’ 

Our relationship strengthened when she asked me to take over a monthly slot on her show and there was no looking back. We kickstarted our collaboration in 2019 and are still going strong featuring artists that have been handpicked with love to put together an hourly mix of the best trip hop, downtempo, ambient, electronica, late night beats.’ – Aneesha Kotwani
